Living a Life Of Purpose

What is your life’s purpose? Do you think you have a clue about it? May be you do, may be you don’t………may be you think its what your parents told, may be what your friends told you, may be you think its your job or career. But your life’s purpose is way beyond all that, and it embedded at the core of your heart.

Purpose is the reason for which something exists or is made.
Every one of us as individuals was created to live a purposeful life. The designer behind this life had purpose on his mind when he took the time to create you, and he intended for you not to walk through life miserable and not sure of what you are up to. Life can easily loose taste with its mundane things when you don’t know what you are living for. It’s not enough to just wake up and go to sleep each day and go through the day to day activities, while waiting for death to come to you.

I think the most liberating thing is to wake up every day and know that you are living for something bigger than our self and to know that you don’t have to go through the same routine and just wait for death at the end of it all, but to actually enjoy the life you have every day, and to live it for a greater cause than just you, and your own little world.

We are all tiny beings in this huge planet and not just planet earth because planet earth is this very tiny weenie planet, in this huge universe, the milk way galaxy.
But no matter how tiny that makes you feel, when you live a life of purpose, you can leave a mark on this planet that cannot be erased.

Without vision, the people perish. Vision gives direction when it looks like things are not going as straight as you hoped they would go. And when life seems to be going slower than you would like it to go, the vision you hold of your future and your life will help you stay focused and on track.
The purpose for your life is rooted in the visions we hold in our hearts. What are the things that inspire you, or make you come alive, you know the dreams you have always had in your heart and even when you try to get rid of them, they cant go away? May be you say I don’t have dreams, I was born in misery, I have grown up in misery and I don’t have any dreams; well what are some of the deepest desires of your heat, and the things that make you come alive?

When you follow these dreams, you will have realized your life’s purpose. Because dreams are normally a reflection of the purpose for which we live.

The best way to live a life of purpose is not to be selfish. Selfishness will destroy any one no matter who they are, because selfishness is the first law of self-preservation. When you are always trying to preserve your self and watch your own back, you will spend so much energy on you and which energy can be used to realize your dreams and potential. If you need a recipe for a life of misery, you don’t have to look far, just be selfish, it will block your blessings and opportunities and will literary sabotage you from being all that you can be, and realizing the purpose for which you were created.

Living a life of purpose and realizing your life’s purpose takes a little help here and a little help there, from people, which make me remember the saying that no man is an island. I don’t care how well or self sufficient you think you are, living a purposeful life will be as a result of the people that come along your way.
So, if you really are going to live a purposeful life and enjoy it, live not only for you but live a life and have dreams that are bigger than you and bigger than your today. Help some one else discover their purpose and realize their dreams, do for others what you would like them do for you, because everything you do will return to you.

Determine today to live a purposeful life, and not just to exist. There are many helpless people on in the world today, many people that need a helping hand, an encouragement, an advice, people that are literally crying out for help. Aim to be the person that will live not just for you, and in that way your life will be bigger and you will realize the purpose for which you were created.
